Peter J. Murgio is a retired entrepreneur, real estate investor, and prolific author whose novels span historical, political, and contemporary fiction. Mr. Murgio earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business and economics from Monmouth University before entering military service in the United States Army. He was assigned to the Adjutant General Corps and served at Fort Carson, Colorado, and later at Command Headquarters in Seoul, Korea. Upon completion of his tour of duty, he was awarded the Army Commendation Award for outstanding meritorious service. Following his military service, he began his professional career on Wall Street at the American Stock Exchange, eventually moving into senior management roles and later executive leadership within the private sector.

After relocating to Connecticut, Mr. Murgio purchased a small office furniture dealership and grew it over three decades into one of the largest firms of its kind, with operations in the United States, Mexico, Ireland, and the United Kingdom. In 2011, Mr. Murgio retired after selling the company to a multi-billion dollar NYSE-listed corporation. Now residing in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, Mr. Murgio devotes his time to writing and travel. His novels explore power, ambition, moral choice, and legacy, drawing on a lifetime of global experience. He and his wife are the proud parents of two married adult sons and enjoy time with their growing family as he continues to expand his body of work.
